Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 6 slider buns
  • 1 cup arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Brush both sides of the chicken with the glaze and transfer to the oven. Bake for around 10 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  6. In the same skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  7. Let the chicken rest before slicing it into pieces that fit your slider buns.
  8. Assemble each slider by placing arugula on the bottom half of the bun, followed by a piece of chicken and a slice of turkey bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
