  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes). Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for one minute. Add orzo pasta and stir frequently for about 12 minutes.
  3. Slowly pour in chicken broth while stirring gently. Let it simmer for around 8 minutes until most liquid is absorbed.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and broccoli florets. Cook until the orzo is tender and the sauce thickens (approximately another 5-6 minutes).
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add chopped parsley before serving warm.
