  • 1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoons white sugar (divided)

  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 3 medium tart apples (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats (for topping)
  • 1/3 cup cold butter (cubed, for topping)
  • 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Make the crust by mixing flour and brown sugar, then adding cubed butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Prepare the filling by beating cream cheese with white sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, then fold in apples with cinnamon and nutmeg.
