  • 10 figs, halved
  • 10 oz seedless grapes
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 ½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 2 tbsp honey, divided
  • 1 block Greek feta cheese in brine
  • ½ to 1 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • 4 to 5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Baguette, sliced and toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. On a large baking sheet, combine the halved figs and grapes with balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and half of the honey.
  3. Bake the fruit mixture for 8 minutes until softened.
  4. Remove from the oven; place the feta block in the center of the baking sheet. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and honey; sprinkle with Aleppo pepper and thyme.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes until grapes burst and figs become jammy.
  6. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices.
